My impossible mission is creating an interactive movie. I'd love to design one where the player doesn't have to wait to make a choice. Also, it will be very silly and the actors will be given literal pieces of scenery to chew.
I like that Bandersnatch gave us a cultural touchstone for interactive movies, but I want to make a movie game where there's stuff to do and explore in every scene. From a design perspective, it's completely impractical, but that's what makes it an impossible mission!
1) I cheated. The fate of the world was on the line and Rufus was most likely definitely going to cheat.
2) I'm partial to Tomorrow Never Dies (I think it was the first Bond movie I saw in the theaters) and then Diamonds Are Forever, because of Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd.
3) My impossible mission is to create the spiritual point-and-click adventure game successor to The Secret of Monkey Island (although Christoph Schultz might have beat me to the punch with his excellent Cleo: A Pirate's Tale: http://cleogame.com/)
2. As soon as I saw the title... fuuuuuuck. Soft spot targeted and hit dead center. I have an entire Wiki about Bond. Favorite, though? Every one of them is a great part of the franchise. My rewatches always start with Dr. No. Brosnan and Craig years are probably the most well made. I’d have to go with Skyfall.
3. Impossible mission? Being a writer and supporting my family on it. Feeling FREE and having idea notes on scraps of paper that morph into books of short stories.
2. Whaaaa, you run a James Bond Wiki? What's the link? Skyfall is a classy choice.
3. I'm certain you'll complete that mission, agent. Then you'll retire to a writer island with your typewriter, idea scraps, and martini glasses. (Until the next mission.)
I cheated. Which is REALLY out of character for me IRL. Maybe it was the thrill of cheating, or maybe I just figured Rufus wasn't the sort of guy to play fair. So, yeah, I cheated. And right away I felt smart. And confident. Super confident! But then it looked like I was gonna get caught, and I cursed myself for cheating, and wondered if maybe this whole thing hadn't been some kind of morality test for people who fancy themselves the good guy. You know, teach people like me a lesson. A trap. Well, I was sweating bullets, tbh, and then I remembered, this whole thing could just come down to luck. And I freaking panicked. Luck?! This did not bode well. But... I was wrong. Everything worked! Cheating worked. Cheaters win! Thanks for the emotional rollercoaster, Geoffrey, and the terrible lesson!
I actually DID feel guilty pressing the cheat button... has this something to do with my catholic upbringing?
I’ve never been a Bond guy but I want to compliment you on Lumpyscrumps and a pitch perfect title. I feel like I’m flanked by anglos but the kind that say scones with a long ‘o’ sound.
If you're here from Warp Speed Makes You Nauseous, the comments button led to the wrong post. Argh! Here's the right link:

There was Bandersnatch (Black Mirror) on Netflix. It was interesting. I’d love to see what you create.

1. He was either going to cheat or kill you. So I think that's reasonable.
2. Pierce Brosnan is my sentimental favorite Bond. I love how over-the-top his movies were.
3. There are a lot of great tools for creating point-and-click games pretty easily. If you haven't yet, check out Adventure Creator for Unity.
Oh awesome! Hadn't heard of that! Now off to rob err borrow from a bank to fund the next several years of development!
Table Talk is a great place to learn about crimes– er, computer software tools!
1) I didn’t cheat, because winners never cheat, and cheaters never win.
2) Goldfinger is definitely up there, but my favorite might actually be On Her Majesty’s Secret Service--aka the only one with George Lazenby as Bond.
3) My impossible mission is growing and monetizing my newsletter enough so I can feed my family by playing video games. 😎
1. I admire your commitment to fair play, even with the world at stake!
2. That's one of the few I haven't seen. I should really watch it.
3. For you, I think that's a very possible mission.
1. 😇
2. Lazenby is the most underrated Bond. Not as good as Connery, but right up there with Craig. Definitely MUCH better than Brosnan and Moore.
3. I appreciate and accept this very high compliment 😄
1. No cheating. I’m a badass.
2. As soon as I saw the title... fuuuuuuck. Soft spot targeted and hit dead center. I have an entire Wiki about Bond. Favorite, though? Every one of them is a great part of the franchise. 1. No need to cheat when you're elite!

It’s through Notion. It’s impressive and obsessive. I’ll email you.
How did you know I wanted to retire to a writer island?! There’s a James Bond Beach in Jamaica so I’ll start there.
*Clicks on random life path generator* Lucky guess!

This *comment* was an emotional rollercoaster!
Yeah, live your life like you've got a Game Genie and the extra lives just keep on comin'!

One of my favorite lines.
Jokes on Rufus, he got my bad eyeball 😏
Of course I cheated!
Cheating iz COOL!!!!!
1. I cheated because one shouldn't leave such high stakes to chance.
2. Goldeneye. Nostalgic.
3. Pay back my student loans!
1. Very responsible!
2. Also the best Bond video game.
3. I think the government should make your mission waaaaaay less impossible.

If you felt a phantom ruler slap across your knuckles, then definitely.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the snack. Flanked by Anglos is my favorite 2000s indie band.
Have you heard the song “Tally-Wumpus Down the Lane”?
I haven’t! I tried to look it up just now and couldn’t find it.
